I wish we said “fancy” in America. As in, “I fancy you.” It’s such a more agreeable term than “I have a crush on you.”  What’s a crush? Like, I AM A BOA CONSTRICTOR AND I AM GOING TO IMMOBILIZE YOU WITH MY MISPLACED AND OBSESSIVE AFFECTION.  “I fancy you” is like, you’re so shiny and glittery and I just want to put you on a shelf and look at you for a while ‘cause you’re fancy.

how you will start talking to someone. You talk to them all day, everyday, never running out of things to say. Then, for whatever reason, you just stop. No explanation, no goodbye. It just stops. Then you hear from them one day, out of the blue. You catch up. You talk about how you need to hang out, and that you should continue to talk everyday and not stop like last time. So that lasts for about a week or two. Then, you stop talking..again. No explanation, no goodbye.
